Hirsutism is when there is an excess of hair growth. It does occur both in men and women but often seen in women. The hair is a lot darker and thicker.

WHAT CAUSES IT?
The known cause is heredity. Other factors such as background, age, metabolism and weight gain can influence the hair growth.

TREATMENT / PREVENTION
Hirsutism cannot be cured but it can be controlled. You could control it by waxing or laser hair removal. At the Skin Centre we do both laser and I.P.L laser hair removable.
