WHAT CAUSES IT?
Acne is usually only starts at puberty and for some people it may continue for many years. Most teenagers get acne when they reach puberty and their body changes and mature. When the body matures, they produce different hormones which then stimulate the sebaceous gland (oil producing gland) within the pores or hair follicles. When there is over active sebaceous glands, lots of oil is produced within the skin and this clogs the pores therefore causing pimples / acne.
